ADEM APPLICATIONS FOR SECOND ROUND
ACADEMIC YEAR 2021-2022
MWALIKO WA MAOMBI YA PILI YA KUJIUNGAADEM (Agency for the development of educational management) TO A DIPLOMA IN
EDUCATION MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION (DEMA) AND DIPLOMA IN SCHOOL QUALITY
ASSURANCE (DSQA) FOR THE ACADEMIC YEAR 2021/2022.
ADEM offers
Diploma in Education Management and Administration (DEMA) and Diploma in School
Quality Assurance (DSQA). Interested applicants wanaalikwa kutuma maombi yao
kujiunga courses offered by ADEM in the academic year 2021/2022. The applicants
should specify to study at ADEM-Bagamoyo,
ADEM-Mwanza or ADEM-Mbeya. However, DSQA is only offered at ADEMBagamoyo. The courses
commence on 10th October, 2021 and selection results will be out by 5 th
October, 2021.
1. BASIC INFORMATION
A:Target groups: Waombaji wanatakiwa be in-service
teachers, school heads or educational managers and administrators at Ward, District,
Regional or Zonal levels from both government and nongovernment entities. These
include
Ø District Education Officials
(District Education Officers, Statistics and Logistics Officers, District
Academic Officers and Teachers Service Commission Officials).
Ø Ward Education Officers (WEOs).
Ø Heads of School (Primary and
Secondary) and
Ø Principals from TTCs and FDCs
Ø Teachers from pre-primary, primary
schools, secondary schools and Teacher colleges who have been in the teaching
service for not less than three years.
Ø Managers and Owners of Non-Government
Schools such as Religious, Military, Private and Investors in education sector.
Ø Workers in Non-Government
Organizations (NGOs) dealing with education and
Ø School Quality Assurance Officers (
School Inspectors)
B:Requirements for DIPLOMA IN EDUCATION MANAGEMENT AND ADMINISTRATION (DEMA).
Kozi hii inatolewa katika vyuo vya ADEM-Bagamoyo, Mwanza and Mbeya.
Applicants should be IN-SERVICE teachers or education officers who have THREE years working experience
including the following qualifications,:
Ø Grade A Teacher Certificate with a
minimum of four passes in CSEE (excluding religious subjects)
Ø Diploma in Education from any
recognized institution.
Ø Bachelor degree and above, in
education
Ø Certificate in Education Leadership,
Management and Administration (CELMA) offered by ADEM
C: Requirements for DIPLOMA IN SCHOOL
QUALITY ASSURANCE (DSQA)
This course
is offered at ADEM-Bagamoyo Only. Applicants should be IN-SERVICE teachers or
education officers with a minimum of THREE
years working experience, including the following qualifications:
Ø Certificate of Secondary Education
Examination (CSEE) with pass in FOUR subjects, (excluding Religious subjects)
Ø Teacher certificate, Diploma, Degree
or above in Education.
Ø School Quality Assurance Officer.
2.REQUIRED ENCLOSURES:
Ø Photocopies of academic certificates.
Ø Photocopies of professional qualifications in Education (Teacher Grade A,
Diploma or Degree)
Ø Non-refundable application fee of shillings. 10,000/= paid through: (i )

3.MODE OF APPLICATION:
a)
Candidates must SUBMIT a filled form
(available in ADEM website) DIRECT TO ADEM in response to this advertisement.
Applicants who were not selected or did not report in the last year are allowed
to apply in the academic year 2021/2022.

Ø Applications must be written in
English language.
Ø Applications must reach the Chief
Executive not later than 3rd October, 2021.
Ø Only successful candidates will be
informed by 5 th October, 2021.
