school are one of the contribution schemes of Ishik Foundation in education for
Tanzania. Feza Schools is a group of schools that are situated in Dar es
Salaam, Dodoma and Zanzibar. The first school, Feza Boys started in 1998 at
Mikocheni, Dar es Salaam and officially inaugurated by His Excellency the Vice
President, late Dr. Omar Ali Juma.
Feza
schools are looking for an HR manager to oversee all aspects of human resources
practices and processes in organization. HR manager is the go-to person for all
employee-related issues. Your duties will involve managing activities done by
team of Hr officers in school on area like job design, recruitment, employee
relations, performance management, training & development and talent
management.
The job of HR manager is important to business success. People are most important asset and you’ll be the one to ensure they are happy and productive workplace where everyone works to realize established mission and objectives. Manager Responsibilities at Feza School:
Ø Develop and
implement HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall foundation
strategy
Ø Bridge
management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances or other
issues
Ø Manage the
recruitment and selection process
Ø Support
current and future business needs through the development, engagement,
motivation and preservation of human capital
Ø Develop and
monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics and procedures across the
foundation
Ø Nurture a
positive working environment
Ø Oversee and
manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
Ø Assess
training needs to apply and monitor training programs
Ø Report to
management and provide decision support through HR metrics
Ø Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management

HR Manager
Application Requirements:
Ø Proven
working experience as HR manager in schools preferably English medium schools
in Tanzania for three years
Ø People
oriented and results driven
Ø Demonstrable
experience with human resources metrics
Ø Knowledge of
HR systems
Ø Ability to
architect strategy along with leadership skills
Ø Excellent
active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
Ø Competence
to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of
the company
Ø In-depth
knowledge of labor law and HR best practices
Ø Degree in
Human Resources or related field
Ø 7 to 10
years’ of experience as an hr manager.
